The Roan Warrior motorcycle ride starts in the parking lot of Americano a Roan Mounatin favorite for the best steaks around!
Standing 6,285 feet on the Tennessee-North Carolina border, Roan Mountain has been a popular destination for hundreds of years. The ride is named after reading an article online about an Indian battle for territory.
Indians came to the top of the Roan Mountain, legend has it, to wage a great battle, and so much blood was spilled that the fields of rhododendron turned from white to red.
The Roan Warrior is a tribute ride to the local Indians that once inhabitated these beautful mountains of Tennessee.
Enjoy the beautiful scenery on this ride and the journey as the Indians climbed Roan Mountain to do battle!
